keep truckin' he IS working

Well the other big weekend has arrived. We are heading up to Ain Leuh on Thursday night. Thankfully the group from Wisconsin will be here on Tuesday night already, wow, thats tomorrow, so we'll be able to spend time with them before we leave for the weekend. I'm quite excited about hanging out with leanne in particular - she was my roommate and well we've got lots to talk about. The crazy thing is our weekend heading up to Ain Leuh and staying there will be about 1500 dirhams plus taxi rides around the area there - this is about $200 - which to us is a huge lump sum. The thing is, this is a mandatory thing for all y people and it will be a great weekend - its basically a small meeting for the whole weekend. The costly thing is firstly the bus ride there - its 10 hours at least and with that its quite expensive. Housing and food there though, is done by voh and so we are supporting them through this as well. SO in the end, its good that we are going but please pray for us in the next month or so - cause thats when we'll really know if we should've gone or not. Money is such a stupid thing but really its needed - we really wished to travel a bit more just to see a few people up in Fes, unfortunately it just won't happen with this meeting in Ain Leuh and severe assessments going on with our students once we get back and then classes. Its really too bad but I guess we know now for next time - yes, there will be a next time. Well, talk to you all soon - this past week or so we just hung out with friends and i made shortbread, biscuits and cookies - i'm becoming quite the cook, with ann by my side giving me new recipes and showing me all the tricks of the trade - cooking in morocco is a little different so i'm pretty pumped about all that. Please pray for our future and thanks for all the support so far.
