First Hawai'ian weekend

So this weekend was a bit of a blur - Dustin had his first weekend with the sop students doing kitchen duties.  Basically they had to be in the kitchen by 5:30am to cook up breakfast and then they cleaned up till around 9:30am only to be back in the kitchen at 2:30pm to cook supper and then clean up which ended around 7pm...so it was an all day event that also included Sunday.  So you  can understand how busy it was for Dustin.  Myself on the other hand, tried to sleep in (that is having woken up with Dustin at 5am) and then hang out waiting for Dustin.  At 2:30pm we left for our ESL/TESOL bbq at one of the leaders' homes'.  We had snacks, played some get to know you games, and then ate again - hamburgers...and then later on had ice-cream.  Seriously, there's a lot of eating.  

On Sunday, we skipped church - shameful, I know.  We plan to walk down to a church nearby but with Dust working in the kitchen - it just didn't work but we hung out as an SOP instead.  We headed down to the beach, one of the many, and walked around in the afternoon - took some pics of black crabs, wierd I know.  That summed up our weekend.  It wasn't all that exciting  but it could only  get better.
