Arrived in Agadir, Morocco

We have arrived - its 9pm on the 27th and we are here at George's house -our connection here in morocco. Tomorrow we will be able to move into our place which is actually just down the street so thats great and I noticed as we were driving up that we live right above a potato sandwich store and george lives above an internet cafe so its all good - plus george has wireless here so we are set, so much more than i thought. As you all knew, we left on the 26th at 5 pm and headed to Toronto which was all good - we got there in time to get a bite to eat before the stores shut and then just waited for our flight. Once we got into our plane to London we realized that we would be sitting right in the back of the plane and needing to get to Gatwick Airport in 3 hours after landing in Heathrow - we were a little worried. We tried to sleep on that flight but it was a new Air Canada and they had the tvs in the backs of the seats with this new setup where you can watch any kind of movie, listen to any kind of music, watch any sort of TV and can even play video games, and you could actually plug in your ipod and wire it through or plug in and charge your laptop - it was quite crazy. So we were distracted. After we landed in Heathrow we were able to cut lines of customs and get our bags and get onto the bus to Gatwick - quite simple actually. We thought we had completed the major parts of this excursion but turns out there was more to come. We ended up getting to gatwick an hour and a half before our flight checked in and found out it was a two hour line to get through security. After a slight panic and British Airway workers telling us to get to the back of the line-which was around and about miles long and out of the terminal-we pushed our way through one line which lead us to the security - lots of waiting, frustrated flyers and very little employees. We got onto our flight about 45 minutes late but they were waiting for us and about a dozen more people. At around 8:30 we landed in Agadir - a very spread out and growing city in Morocco. George picked us up at the airport, we took a taxi to his place and are staying there now, trying to shower up after a very long day and a half and get some long deserved sleep. Tomorrow morning we get to meet the rest of the team that is here under George's supervision and get to meet a new korean team that came in last night. Things are crazy here with new years and the sheep killing right around the corner but we will keep you up to date on all that as it progresses. Dust and I are doing alright, needing some sleep but excited to see what will go on next. We made it, Praise the Lord.
