So I am preparing to give my first quiz.  The students are a bit scared because they don't realize how much information they are actually taking in.  One girl, Hyun Kyung, told me today that she knows that God made us to sleep as well as do things while we are awake but she can't sleep.  She gets tired but she has to study because she only has 3 months to master the English language so she wants to use all the time that she has.  Very funny story - she is so devoted to learning English - probably one of the more motivated students.  She also has lived in Germany for 6 years and learned German so she is determined.  She is also one of those people that just make you laugh because she's so nervous and shy but yet still outgoing.  Today she said she wanted to be a radio dj - so we all chuckled because we all thought right aways about a dj or mixer whipping out some wicked beats - yeah, that's not what she was meaning - she just wanted to be on the radio broadcasting or announcing.  Funny, though - I would love to tape my class because some of things that come out are hilarious not only because they don't know the language but also because they are all just naturally funny and they laugh a lot.
